AI model price tracker

What the big AI APIs cost, in US dollars per million tokens (a token is roughly three-quarters of a word). Every row is copied from the provider's official pricing page, with the link and the date we checked it.

Standard tier, text, shortest context bracket. Excludes batch, caching and fast-mode pricing. PROMO = temporary price with a scheduled increase.

How to read this

Per-token price is only half the bill. A model that is cheaper per token can still cost more per task if it writes more tokens to get there. Our first issue found exactly that: Gemini 4 Argon is cheaper than GPT-6 Astra per task only while its introductory price lasts.

We only list a price after reading it on the provider's own pricing page. When a price changes we update the row and the date. Spot something stale? See our corrections policy. Raw data: pricing.json (CC BY 4.0, please link back).
